Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I just bought my PlanetPrepaid Internet card, and I want to know how to select my plan.

A: Planet Prepaid does not require you to select your plan, this is done automatically based on your usage. However, you can choose your plan with our plan selection tool. For more information on how plans are automatically selected, read on.

If you purchase a $20 card, you are entitled to use 50 days unlimited or 175 hours in 90 days. If you use more than 175 hours in the first 50 days, then you will be automatically placed on the unlimited plan, and your card will expire after 50 days.

Q: Can I buy a card over the phone, rather than going into a reseller's store?

A: Yes, you can purchase a card over the phone! To purchase a card over the phone you will need your credit card details and your full name.

Once the payment has been made, you will be given a username and password in which you can dial-up to the Internet with. It is important you write these details down correctly, a staff member will verify these details with you. On your bank statement, the payment will appear as "SIS GROUP PTY LTD".

Q: I can't seem to login with the username and password on my card.

A: Be sure that you're typing in the username and password exactly as they appear on your PlanetPrepaid card. If you feel that you're typing them both in correctly, please contact the support desk.

The other problem may be that your Prepaid card has already expired, in this case you will have to purchase a new card.

Q: How do I know when my card expires?

A: You will know when your current card will no longer be able to access the Internet using your username and password credentials at the dial up prompt.

Q: Does Planet Prepaid offer monthly accounts, or Business Internet Solutions?

A: Planet Prepaid can provide monthly dialup accounts through our ISP ThePlanet. We can also provide Broadband Internet connections. See www.theplanet.net.au for more information on dialup and broadband accounts. For Business Internet Solutions, visit www.sisgroup.com.au.
